Bruce County is gearing up for its annual Starter Company Plus Program.
To help kick off this year’s program which supports aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs across the region, the county is holding virtual information sessions on Sept. 9 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Sept. 13 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The virtual information sessions will include details about the program, its benefits, and eligibility requirements, and is mandatory to attend for those interested in registering for the program.
It is available to business owners 18 years and older if they are launching a new business or expanding an existing one.
Some of the benefits include a grant of up to $5,000, business training and mentorship, and support to develop a business plan
