The Met Office has issued a yellow thunderstorm warning set to affect parts of the UK across Sunday (September 7).
It comes just a week after the official start of meteorological autumn, with the Met Office warning of "unsettled" weather over the next weeks.
For Sunday, September 7, the Met Office has warned of the chance of thunderstorms across southern parts of the country, with a flood alert also in place across England, particularly across the North Sea coast at Bridlington.
The Met Office forecasts a band of "heavy rain" and "thunderstorms" will move north across affected areas on Sunday, with some areas receiving 30 - 40 millimetres of rain.
