NORMAN, Okla. – “We Will Rock You” by Queen blared through the speaker system at Oklahoma Memorial Stadium as Michigan’s football team tried to mount a comeback early in the fourth quarter of Saturday’s 24-13 loss.
The 15th-ranked Wolverines have played in many raucous environments during their storied history, but Saturday at No. 18 Oklahoma was their first at a Southeastern Conference stadium.
Michigan’s offense gave the Sooner fans plenty to cheer about. Even though the unit was reeling for most of the game, the Wolverines only trailed by eight after Oklahoma’s Tate Sandell missed a 42-yard field goal at the 12:32 mark of the fourth.
