KANSAS CITY, Mo. —

One of the oldest rivalries in college football shook off the cobwebs Saturday to bring fans young and old together.

"I feel like I've been waiting my whole life for this," said one 23-year-old Kansas fan.

"Absolutely incredible," said a Mizzou grad named Kyle. "There's nothing better than this."

Saturday was the first time Missouri and Kansas met on the gridiron since 2011, but these fans haven't forgotten the deep-seated distaste for their neighbors.

"Missouri is just, they're kind of scummy," said Noah, a Kansas fan watching the game at Kelly's.
