Just over four months after abruptly ending his PGA Tour season, Billy Horschel is back in professional golf. Horschel personally confirmed that he will defend his DP World Tour BMW PGA Championship title, marking his return to action.

The eight-time PGA Tour winner surprised fans by posting on X that he would be traveling to England for the European Tour's flagship event. Shortly after, he reposted a PGA Tour post, revealing his return to the courses and detailing his recovery.

Meanwhile, his name appeared on the entry list for the BMW PGA Championship, which will take place at the Wentworth Club in England from Sept. 11-14.

As you may recall, Horschel had to abruptly halt his season last May due to a hip injury that even led to surgery.
