Netflix ’s plan to turn a shuttered Army base into a Hollywood-style studio moved forward last week as local officials approved the massive second phase of the $903 million project.
The newly approved 155-acre section, the largest piece of the project, will serve as the studio complex’s main entrance and centerpiece. It will have eight soundstages, production offices and a public plaza.
