TOWAMENCIN – Yeboa Cobbold Jr. had seemingly put the Lansdale Catholic football team ahead of Hatboro-Horsham late in the fourth quarter, his 4th-and-10 pass connecting with a streaking James Webb Jr. for 54-yard touchdown.

The go-ahead score, however, did not stand – a penalty for an ineligible player erasing it and forcing the Crusaders to convert a 4th-and-15 from their own 41 to keep their comeback bid going Saturday afternoon.

“So that play that got called back, we had to lock in,” Cobbold Jr. said. “We had another down to play, we had to lock in so everybody had to do their jobs and at the point, I just got to make a play right here for us to win this game.”

LC senior quarterback came through, scrambling to his left then sprinting up the field for 25 yards to continue the drive.
