Police in Jackson Township, New Jersey, believe a man shot and killed his 28-year-old girlfriend in an incident that happened outside an apartment complex on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025.

According to police, officers responded to a report of a woman unresponsive after shots were fired in the area of the Paragon Apartment Complex on Larsen Road in Jackson Township at about 11 a.m. on Saturday.

Here, officials said they found the body of Toraya Reid, 28, of Jackson Township, after she has been shot several times near the exit of the apartment complex.
