INDIANAPOLIS — Miami Dolphins right guard James Daniels is active and available to start for the team in the opener against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.

Daniels, who entered questionable with an ankle injury, was not among inactives announced by the team 90 minutes prior to the 1 p.m. kickoff at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Daniels, who rehabbed a torn Achilles on his right leg in the offseason, popped up on the Dolphins’ injury report Thursday for an ankle injury on the left leg. He left Thursday’s practice early as a limited participant and did not take part in Friday drills.
