Britons have voiced complaints that they failed to receive the emergency alert transmitted by the Government to mobile devices today.
Around 3pm on Sunday, handsets connected to 4G and 5G networks vibrated and emitted sounds for approximately 10 seconds during the second trial of the system – following the initial test in 2023.
However, some are worried that their notification arrived late or failed to activate entirely.

One individual posted: "The government telling us the emergency alert would go off at 3:00pm but it actually went off at 3:01pm", reports the Mirror .
Others grumbled they hadn't received it whatsoever.
"Did anyone else not get the emergency test alert? no message, no noise, nothing,"
