Prince Harry visited Nottingham in 2016 to open a new police station on Maid Marian Way

Prince Harry is set to come to Nottingham as part of his first visit to the UK for five months. The Duke of Sussex, who is no longer a working royal, will visit a community recording studio in St Ann's as he carries out a run of engagements .

Now living in America with wife Meghan Markle, the duke is returning to the UK on Monday (September 8) on the third anniversary of the late Queen's death .

He'll be attending the annual WellChild Awards - a charity he is a patron of - before travelling to Nottingham the following day (September 9).

But it's far from the first time the duke has been to the city, with him recently saying "Nottingham holds a special place in my heart".
