KANSAS CITY -- The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have placed catcher Ryan Jeffers on the 7-day Concussion Injured List (retroactive to September 5). Additionally, they have recalled outfielder Carson McCusker and right-handed pitcher Pierson Ohl from Triple-A St. Paul, and have designated right-handed pitcher Brooks Kriske for release or assignment.

Jeffers, who sustained the injury Thursday against the Chicago White Sox at Target Field, has hit .262 (101-for-386) with 24 doubles, nine home runs, 44 RBI, 48 walks, 47 runs scored and a .747 OPS in 114 games for the Twins this season.

McCusker, who will be making his third stint with the Twins this season, has played in 106 games for the Saints in 2025, hitting .246 (96-for-390) with 25 doubles, 22 home runs, 70 RBI, 57 runs sc
