The Mike Vrabel era got off to a slow start in New England as the Patriots dropped their season opener 20-13 to the Las Vegas Raiders.

Besides a strong second drive that ended with a pretty touchdown pass from Drake Maye to DeMario Douglas, New England’s offense failed to find a rhythm for much of the afternoon while Geno Smith threw for over 350 yards in his Raiders debut.
