Kirby Smart and Georgia football are ranked No. 3 in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll , which was released on Sunday Sept. 7.

The Bulldogs 28-6 Week 2 win over FCS Austin Peay moved the Bulldogs to 2-0 on the season on a weekend when the only top 10 team in the US LBM Coaches Poll to lose was No. 10 Arizona State .

Georgia remained at No. 3 behind No. 1 Ohio State and No. 2 Penn State.

The Bulldogs have a top 15 showdown on Saturday Sept. 13 at No. 15 Tennessee at 3:30 p.m.

Georgia is 14-12-1 overall in Knoxville, but is 4-0 since Kirby Smart’s been the Bulldogs coach.

Tennessee (2-0) beat Syracuse 45-26 in Atlanta in its opener and stomped East Tennessee State 72-17 on Saturday.
