The temporary closure comes after elevated levels of asbestos were found in a classroom at the school on Sept. 6 in an air sample, according to a statement sent to families. Solon School District Superintendent Fred Bolden and principal Mariann Moeschberger said the findings were limited to a single classroom, but the safety of staff and parents remains the priority.
