A new era of Patriots football begins Sunday w hen they open their 2025 season at Gillette Stadium with Mike Vrabel as their coach.

While he has yet to coach a game for New England, his former Patriots teammate Tedy Bruschi already knows which former coach Vrabel reminds him of.

It’s not Bill Belichick , but Bill Parcells because of how Vrabel interacts with his players and his ability to reach players professionally and personally.

“You gotta meet them where they‘re at and bring them along to where they need to get to," Vrabel told Bruschi on “Sunday NFL Countdown.” “It’s OK to for us to have different personalities. We have to have one singular mentality about how we operate on the football field."
