Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy sustained a dislocated right shoulder after colliding with teammate Travis Kelce in the team's season opener, NFL Network reported Sunday.

Per the report, Worthy is seeking a second opinion.

The Chiefs are bracing for the speedy wideout to miss an unspecified amount of time while he recovers from the injury. It's possible Worthy will be wearing a brace to provide some protection to his shoulder when he returns, per the report.

Worthy played just three snaps before colliding with Kelce on an underneath crossing route in Kansas City's 27-21 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Friday in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Marquise Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster and Tyquan Thornton are expected to see more action while Worthy recovers.
