COLUMBUS, Ohio — It was a halftime performance for the ages Saturday afternoon inside Ohio Stadium, where two of the nation’s most celebrated marching bands shared the spotlight in a rare and electrifying collaboration.

The Ohio State University Marching Band — known as “The Best Damn Band in the Land” — joined forces with its alumni and the world-renowned Grambling State University Tiger Marching Band for a high-energy battle of the bands that brought the crowd to its feet.

Fans were treated to a musical tribute to Ohio State’s national championship run last season, punctuated by four renditions of the iconic Script Ohio formation.
