In the US LBM Coaches Poll, Missouri football is now the first team ranked outside of the top 25, up two spots from where it was ranked after Week 1. Mizzou beat Kansas 42-31 on Saturday in Columbia in the first Border War in nearly 14 years, taking the Tigers to 2-0 after a 55-point, season-opening win over Central Arkansas.
The Tigers received 142 voting points, up from 88 voting points following the Week 1 slate of games. If the rankings extended that far, Mizzou would be the No. 26 team in the country, per the coaches.
