LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - A cold front moved through SWLA late Saturday and that brought slightly lower humidity.

But a second cold front will approach our area on Sunday night and that will bring another round of drier air back to SWLA for early next week with a possible reinforcing shot of dry air by the middle or end of next week.

Temperatures will be cooler the next two mornings with Tuesday likely the coolest. Morning lows will drop into the low to mid 60s Monday and possibly into the upper 50s by Tuesday! Afternoon highs will still reach the upper 80s, but with low humidity it will not be too uncomfortable.

Southerly winds will return by the end of the week and that means the humidity will be going up too. Tempertures will also increase with lows and highs back to near normal. Ra
