SHREVEPORT, LA (KTAL/KMSS) — One man has died after being struck by a vehicle in Shreveport.

According to the Caddo Parish Coroner's Office, 64-year-old Solomon Boyd was struck by a vehicle while riding a mobility scooter on Friday, September 5, shortly after 8:00 a.m. The incident happened in the 100 block of East Stoner Avenue.

The victim was transported to Ochsner LSU but later died from his injuries on Sunday, September 7.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
