Queens, NY – Police are searching for a man who opened fire on a crowded A train platform late Thursday, sparking panic but causing no injuries, authorities said.
The incident happened around 11:40 p.m. on September 4 at the Rockaway Boulevard subway station in Ozone Park. Investigators said the suspect displayed a firearm and discharged it on the southbound platform before fleeing on foot to an unknown location.
The NYPD released images of the man and is asking for the public’s help in identifying him. He is wanted on reckless endangerment charges.
No one was struck by gunfire, and police said no injuries were reported.
