Aaron Rodgers' stint with the Jets couldn't have gone much worse. He tore his Achilles just a few plays into the 2023 season, and he didn't look like the same player upon his return in 2024.
But Rodgers didn't have to wait long at all to show his former team that he's still got high-level football left in him. Making his Steelers debut in Pittsburgh's Week 1 matchup with the Jets, Rodgers passed for four touchdowns and helped set up Chris Boswell's go-ahead, 60-yard field goal with a minute to go.
As Rodgers left the field at MetLife Stadium, he mockingly taunted the Jets fans and had some words for someone in the crowd.
Rodgers tried to downplay facing his old team in Week 1, but it was obvious that win meant something extra to the 41-year-old QB.
The Steelers will now look ahead to their home opener against the Seahawks in Week 2.
