CORDES LAKES, AZ (AZFamily) — A man died in a central Arizona house fire Saturday night.

Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a house fire in Cordes Lakes just after 6 p.m., according to a department statement.

When authorities arrived, a woman told them that her 37-year-old son was still inside the residence. He was later found deceased within the home. He has not been publicly identified.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
