The Labubu mania has reached the MTV Video Music Awards red carpet .

Marko Monroe, who became known as the “ labubu designer” on social media, was one of the first guests to arrive at the award show ceremony on Sunday, debuting what he called a “Moonbubu.” The name is a reference to the classic Moonman statuette trophy given during the music television network’s annual show since 1984. Inspired by the original Moonman, Monroe’s Labubu is seen wearing a silver astronaut outfit with a space helmet included.

“Who is going to take home the Moonbubu tonight?” the designer asked on his social media, where he shared close-up pictures of his creations.
