Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie faced significant backlash from MAGA on Sunday after he jabbed Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. during a morning interview.

Christie told ABC News' George Stephanopoulos on Sunday that the Health and Human Services Secretary is "wholly unqualified" for the job he has and described Kennedy as a "human middle finger" to America's public health.

"You looked at that appearance before Congress, and it just confirms what all of us around this table have known for decades," Christie said. "Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is a foolish man, full of foolish and vapid ideas."

MAGA political analysts responded to Christie's comments on social media.

"Is there any better snapshot of the Uniparty establishment’s total insanity than Chris Christie scolding RFK about health expertise?" MAGA author and January 6 participant John Strand posted on X.

"Chris should probably sit this one out. We trust RFK Jr.," Trump advisor Alex Bruesewitz posted on X.

"Chris Christie calls RFK Jr. a joke and says he should not be leading public health in America!" MAGA political commentator Gunther Eagelman posted on X. "This is not parody."

"Morbidly obese Chris Christie is in no position to comment on public health," MAGA podcaster Eric Matheny posted on X. "At 63, the likelihood of him living to see his 70s is in jeopardy if he doesn’t make immediate and drastic lifestyle changes."
