BULLHEAD CITY — The Mohave High School girls volleyball team began its season with three matches this week, including its home opener on Wednesday night.

The Thunderbirds fell in three sets to Bradshaw Mountain High School in that match and played well against Westview High School at home, but dropped three tight sets. They lost two sets by four points and the final one by five.

Mohave then lost to Agua Fria High School on Thursday and will play again on Tuesday against Dysart High School. They come in with a record of 1-1 and had one of their 17 wins a season ago come against the Thunderbirds.
