GLEN JEAN, WV (WVNS) - Some of the top athletes in the world gathered at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in Glen Jean to compete for the 2025 West Virginia Spartan Trifecta World Championship Weekend.
Adam Wallenfelsz is an event director for the Spartan Race. He explained this weekend gave Spartan the opportunity to better accommodate their American racers location-wise.
“The property is just amazing. I mean, they have got 10,000 acres we can really get away with our courses on it. We are really able to make it creative and have some fun with it,” said Wallenfelsz.
