A Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold for Saturday night’s drawing at a convenience store in New Jersey while the monster $1.787 billion jackpot was split by two tickets sold in other states.
A ticket purchased at Xpress Food Mart in Woodlynne in Camden County hit the $1 million second prize by matching five balls, but not the Powerball.
The winning numbers drawn were 11 , 23 , 44 , 61 , 62 , with a Powerball of 17 and multiplier of 2 .
New Jersey also had 16 third prize Powerball winners - five worth $100,000 and 11 worth $50,000, state lottery officials said. The $100,000 winners spent an extra $1 on the multiplier.
