Believe it or not, the 2025 VMAs have officially arrived. On Sunday, the biggest names in music gathered for the MTV Video Music Awards to see who would take home the night’s top prizes.

Lady Gaga led all nominees this year with an impressive 12 nods, thanks largely to her collaboration with Bruno Mars, “ Die With a Smile,” which is up for Video and Song of the Year, as well as Best Collaboration. Gaga is also nominated for Artist of the Year, while her latest LP, Mayhem , is up for Album of the Year. Meanwhile, the eye-popping visual for Gaga’s Mayhem single “Abracadabra” racked up a slew of creative and technical award nominations, including Best Directing, Cinematography, and Choreography.
