MAINE, USA — Members of United Bikers of Maine are making it their mission to put toys in the hands of children across the state in the upcoming holiday season.
"There's so many children. People out of work need to support their children for Christmas, and it's difficult; it's not easy to do this, so anything we can do as motorcycle enthusiasts, we'd like to do," Shawn Nava, a member of United Bikers of Maine, said.
The organization supports families in need through the community's donations at its annual Toy Drive.
"That goes a long way to helping children have a better Christmas," Nava said.
At just 11 years old, McKenzie Burton-Dashman knows the importance, too.
"Every kid should deserve to have something fun that they want in their life," Burton-Dashman said.
