ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) -- The Grand Prix Festival in Watkins Glen concluded on Sunday and saw many people come through for its 32nd year, including those who came for the first time.
Throughout the festivities, people had the opportunity to see vintage cars on display and get a firsthand look at how they operate. Attendees were seen at a fan walk at Watkins Glen International, visiting the pit and browsing through racecars.
Past the garage near the fan zone area, a display of more than 10 cars affiliated with a non-profit organization called Ragtime Racers allowed people to see a history of racecars stretching back from 1909 to 1920. Some of the racecars on display were manufactured in places around the country, such as Detroit, Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Connersville, Indiana.
