LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) - A front has settled south of the Louisiana coastline leading to drier conditions around the area. Tonight, skies clear as temperatures drop in the mid and upper 60s. A nice northerly wind will make it feel very pleasant to start Monday. Sunshine will fill the sky and temperatures warm quickly. Most areas will reach near 90 degrees, but with lower humidity, it won't feel too bad outside.

The tropics are quiet as dry air and wind shear keep any tropical trouble from forming up through the next week.
