Dorian Strong is set for a baptism by fire under the primetime lights.

The rookie cornerback will start for the Buffalo Bills on Sunday Night Football against the Baltimore Ravens , a surprise move given the depth chart heading into the season.

With Tre’Davious White sidelined by a leg injury and first-round pick Maxwell Hairston on injured reserve, the sixth-round pick will face Lamar Jackson on the national stage.

Strong, drafted No. 177 overall out of Virginia Tech, wasn’t even the second cornerback Buffalo selected in April. The Bills took Hairston at No. 30 and Jordan Hancock in the fifth round at No. 170. But it’s Strong, the third rookie cornerback chosen, who is stepping into the lineup opposite starting cornerback Christian Benford under the primetime lights.
