MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A man was robbed of his phone and money overnight while he was walking his two young children.
At three in the morning, MPD responded to an armed robbery on the 2000 block of Whitney Avenue.
Officers arrived at the scene and spoke with the victim, who said he was walking from the Valero gas station at Overton Crossing and Whitney Avenue.
He was walking with his two children when 6 masked young males dressed in all black drove up to them in a tinted black Infiniti.
Two of them came out of the back seat with Glock handguns and demanded his phone and money.
According to MPD, his iPhone 16 and $600 were taken from him.
They then pushed down his daughter during the process. Thankfully, no one was injured during the robbery.
MPD is still currently investigating.
