Crews work to recover paddleboarder's body at Horsetooth Reservoir

A paddleboarder who was reported missing near Horsetooth Reservoir's Satanka Cove on Sept. 7 is believed to be dead.

Poudre Fire Authority crews were called to the reservoir for a water rescue around 3:30 p.m. Sept. 7, according to the PulsePoint app. The paddleboarder was reported missing after they fell off a board at the reservoir, according to a PFA post on X just before 4:15 p.m. Sept. 7.
