MILAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The lacrosse community nationwide is mourning the loss of two Marquette Men’s Lacrosse players who were killed in a crash on Friday, Sept. 5.
According to Milwaukee police, 19-year-old Scott Michaud and 20-year-old Noah Snyder died after a 41-year-old collided into a car carrying six people. The other four passengers, two of them Marquette students, were sent to the hospital and are expected to survive.
Some of those closest to Michaud and Snyder were those who coached them before they became college athletes. Stefan Schroder said he coached Michaud while he was in high school in Springboro, Ohio, but first met Michaud when he was in third grade.
“He was this little kid who could barely carry around his goalie stick with a huge helmet on,” Schroder said. “
