EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- The Las Cruces-based League of Women Voters of Southern New Mexico (LWVSNM) will hold a public meeting featuring a panel of experts who will discuss New Mexico’s shortage of doctors.
The free meeting begins at 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 13, at the Doña Ana Community College Workforce Center, 2345 Nevada Ave.
The panelists will be: Dr. Arthur Berkson, president of the Doña Ana County Medical Society; Fred Nathan, Think New Mexico founder and executive director; Las Cruces journalist Walt Rubel; and Kathe Stark, Patients Primero Steering Committee, a bipartisan citizen advocacy group.
