(KBTX) - Texas A&M football moved to No. 16 in the Week 3 Associated Press Top 25 poll.
The Aggies moved up to No. 17 in this week’s USA Today Coaches Poll .
A&M entered the 2025 season ranked No. 19. After wins against UTSA and Utah State, the Aggies moved up three spots.
A&M is one of 11 Southeastern Conference teams to earn a spot in this week’s poll.
Offensively, the Aggies have been led by quarterback Marcel Reed, who has thrown at least three touchdown passes in A&M’s first two wins of the season.
Defensively, edge Cashius Howell stood out for the Aggies after three sacks on consecutive plays against Utah State.
A&M will face its first ranked opponent of the season when they visit No. 8 Notre Dame Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
