Rosé is getting us all emotional.

The 28-year-old BLACKPINK member and Rosie solo star accepted the award for Song of the Year for “APT.” with Bruno Mars at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday (September 7) at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.

Rosé did not walk the red carpet at the event, but hit the stage to accept the award solo ( Bruno Mars wasn’t in attendance), providing a deeply emotional speech dedicated to her teenage self.

“Oh, my gosh, I can’t believe this. Thank you so much. I prepared something ’cause I didn’t want to mess this up, and I feel like this is a really big moment for myself and a lot of other people. And so, if you don’t mind me, I’ll speed through this, hopefully,” she began.
