A more veteran look produced a more expected result for the Windsor Spitfires.

Six regulars that sat out the Spitfires’ pre-season opener on Friday moved back into the lineup for Sunday’s exhibition game against the Saginaw Spirit.

All six played a role in a 7-3 win over the Saginaw Spirit at the Memorial Arena in Chatham as Windsor evened its exhibition record at 1-1.

“They all played well and that was a good Saginaw team that didn’t have many out,” said Spitfires’ head coach Walters, who still had six other regulars out from last year’s lineup.
