Ricky Martin is dedicating his big honor to his kids!

The 53-year-old “Livin’ la Vida Loca” was honored with the Latin Icon Award at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday (September 7) at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.

During his acceptance speech, Ricky shared some rare comments about his four kids – 17-year-old twin sons Matteo and Valentino , 6-year-old daughter Lucia , and 5-year-old son Renn .

“I want to dedicate this award to my kids,” Ricky said. “Matteo, Valentino, Lucia and Renn, everything I do, I do it with you in my mind and in my heart.”

Also in his speech, Ricky gave a shout-out to all of his fans.

“This is very simple: This is for you all,” he said. “Thank you so much for your applause. I am addicted to your applause. That’s why I keep coming
