FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) -- The Franklin County Historic Letterkenny Chapel and 9/11 Memorial Park are holding events in remembrance of 9/11.

Sunday afternoon, there was a memorial service in the chapel.

Outside, a Salute to Veterans and 9/11 Memorial Patriotic car show was held as well.

This Thursday marks 24 years since the attacks on the U.S. and events like this ensure we never forget.

"I get very emotional when I talk about 911 because of who I'm involved with and we need that," Roger Flick said. "We need to keep that emotion strong so that we don't forget."
