AMSTERDAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Royal Pantry in Amsterdam is on track to reopen its doors after months of uncertainty. The food pantry was forced to close earlier this summer after a code violation put their operations on hold. Now, pantry officials said they’re just one step away from reopening, and they are hoping to be reopened in about 3 weeks.

The Royal Pantry opened its doors a year ago and quickly grew into a lifeline for families in Amsterdam. But in June, operations came to a halt after the city flagged a code violation– requiring a site plan to match the number of people being served.
