CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. — A community coming together to support a two-year-old boy in Lackawanna County.

Brody is recovering at a hospital in Bethlehem after he was seriously injured in an accident two weeks ago.

The Newton-Ransom Volunteer Fire Company hosted "BBQ for Brody" to help pay for his medical expenses, with 800 meal tickets being sold.

Relatives say the support blows them away. Brody's grandfather, Rick Kinney, says, "I just want to thank everybody that came out and everybody that supported my family. I just don't have words for it, it's unbelievable."

Besides the food, 200 raffle baskets were up for grabs.
