GREEN BAY, Wis. --- The Packers made a statement to open their season, taming the Lions to the tune of a 27-13 win.

After going 1-5 in the NFC North in 2024, the Pack made a point to take care of business in their division.

Jordan Love spread the sugar, and was complimented by a dominant defense, headlined by their new superstar, Micah Parsons, who made his presence felt with a fourth quarter sack.

Green Bay doesn't get much rest before taking the field again, they'll host the Washington Commanders on Thursday.
