G ilbert residents looking to serve their community can choose from over 90 different volunteer activities this week leading up to and extending past the 9/11 Day of Service this year.

The town’s volunteer services staff is partnering with local nonprofits Just Serve and For Our Town – Gilbert to organize 96 different volunteer opportunities, running till Sept. 13 this week, as a part of its 9/11 National Day of Service efforts.

The activities involve all age groups and ability levels and interested citizens can browse and sign up for these community service projects through the town website or at justserve.org/911DayofServiceGilbert .
