Prince Harry was pictured at Los Angeles International Airport ahead of a planned appearance at a charity event in London that will have hopes for royal reconciliation as its backdrop.

The Duke of Sussex can be seen walking through LAX carrying a bag, in paparazzi images published in British tabloid The Sun , which said they were taken on Monday morning.

It was daylight in the images, suggesting they were likely taken on Sunday, PST.

Harry's trip is officially in service of charity visits, beginning with the WellChild Awards, in London, on Monday night.

However, all eyes are on whether he meets his father King Charles III for the first time in more than a year, and what it means for their relationship if he does not.
