Michael Lynn “Mike” Shelton, age 70, of White Bluff, TN, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

Mike was born June 18, 1955, in Dickson County and was the son of the late Robert (Jack) and Billie Cochran Shelton. He was a graduate of Dickson County Senior High School, Class of 1973. He worked with the City of Dickson and the City of Charlotte in wastewater management. Being a lifelong farmer, his true love was farming. He loved the land and tilling the soil. Mike was a simple man and loved all the simple things, especially the outdoor life.

Mike proudly served on the board of the Dickson County Farm Bureau for some 30 years. He loved tractors of all kinds, especially the antique tractors, collecting pocket knives, Louis L’Amour books, and l
