Triple murderer Erin Patterson has been spending 22 hours a day inside a tiny jail cell and has barely spoken to any other inmates during her time in a maximum security women’s prison.
The killer cook’s life behind bars was revealed by a judge as he sentenced Patterson to life imprisonment with a non-parole period of 33 years on Monday morning.
The 50-year-old has been held at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre in Melbourne‘s west since she was charged with the murder of three former in-laws and the attempted murder of another in November 2023.
In July, she was found guilty of serving a beef wellington laced with death cap mushrooms to four dinner guests.
